November 2019: Thomas Linder und Peter Leicht haben mit ihrem Poster zum Thema „Fluid Dynamic Investigations using X-Ray Computed Tomography“ beim CBI-Symposium der FAU den Posterpreis gewonnen.

September 2019: Prof. Thommes war als Dozent zur 1. International Adsorption School eingeladen, welche vom 9. bis 13. September in Spetses, Griechenland stattfand.

Juni 2019: Prof. Thommes ist Co-Autor eines vor Kurzem publizierten Papers im Journal Carbon: “Comparing pore structure models of Nanoporous carbons obtained from small angel X-ray scattering and gas adsorption”, C. Diese Arbeit stellt eine Zusammenarbeit zwischen der Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, der Technischen Universität Graz, der Montanuniversität Leoben, der Technischen Universität Dresden und der Universität des Saarlandes, Saarbrücken dar.

Juni 2019: Die University of Edinburgh, UK hat die Gastprofessur von Prof. Matthias Thommes bis 30. April 2022 verlängert.
